DHIDO RECIPE | BIDESH MA SAJILO ढिँडो | How to make DHIDO | Traditional Food | EASY NEPALI FOOD DHEDO / DHINDO / DHIDO (Nepali: ढिँडो ) however its spelled its same it is a traditional food of Nepal. It is prepared by bringing hot water in a pan to boil and adding flour while continuously stirring the mix. It used to be main meal before Dal Bhat it is still main meal in hilly areas because they can't cultivate rice in hilly areas. Dhindo is traditionally prepared from buckwheat(fapar) or millet(kodo) but wheat, corn flour is common as well. In fact, one could make Dhindo from any grain as long as its ground into flour as the recipe is simple.The Original utensil of choice is "Phalame Tapke" (Iron pan), but I have used a non sticky pan as it makes our process much easier and smoother.
